I'll run away with your footsteps, I'll build a city that dreams for two And if you lose yourself I will find you..

Where are you Now..

To my favorite teacher Who told me never give up
To my 5th grade crush Who I thought I really loved
To the guys I missed And the girls we kissed
Where are you now?

To my ex-best friends Don´t know how we grew apart
To my favorite band And sing-alongs in my car

To the face I see In my memories
Where are you now?

To my first girlfriend I thought for sure was the one
To my last girlfriend Sorry that I screwed it up
To the ones I loved But didn't show it enough
Where are you now?

Where are you now?
Cause I'm thinking of you

You showed me how, how to live like I do
If it wasnt for you
I would never be who I am.

And I'll never see those days again
And things will never be that way again
But thats just how it goes,
People change, But I know
I wont forget you
To the ones who cared And who were there from the start
To the love that left and took a piece of my heart
To the few who´d swear I´d never go anywhere

Where are you now?
If it wasn´t for you
I would never be who I am
If it wasn´t for you
I´d be nothing

Where are you now?

The Write Stuff..

Smoking and drinking are tough habits to pick up but once they are formed, they are even tougher to break(to those too weak to seek it). The same is true of great literature, which is, let's face it, Jim Beam for the brain.

If you read a lot of books, you're considered well-read. But if you watch a lot of TV, you're not considered well-viewed.

Fiction writing is great. You can make up almost anything.

I developed a liking to fantasy fiction maybe because, like in movies they take you to a whole new world.. but on a larger scale, because it's your imagination at work here. and due to the fact we had loads of 'em at home. >_<

Right now, I'm into reading Reader's Digest.. I got interested with true to life stories.. Some of 'em just got me inspired, some just really worth reading, and it also has fun facts about the comic reality of life and endeavors of real people.

Entertaining and enriching. Reading has a lot of perks when you're into it.
I remember back in high school.. I hate it when I am forced to read, just because we're required to make book reports. Now, I read because I want to. The irony of it all..

So before you hit start, hit the books first!

Move a Little..

We know that walking can help prevent weight gain, but now researchers at Duke University have shown that it can also help you lose weight without changing the way you eat.

They had 120 overweight adults exercise on a treadmill, elliptical machine or stationary bike. After eight months, those who worked out three hours per week ( the equivalent of walking 30 minutes a day, six days a week) and those who did two hours ( jogging 20 minutes, six days a week) burned the same number of kilojoules and lost about the same amount of weight, on average: 1.36 kilos and 1.13 kilos, respectively ( the runners likely gained more muscle).

A third group, also exercised three hours a week, but at a higher intensity (the equivalent of jogging 30 minutes, six days a week), and lost 3.62 kilos. A fourth group of non exercisers gained 1.13 kilos.

"Most adults can easily prevent weight gain by walking."

The advantage of higher-intensity exercise is to get the same amount done more quickly or to spend the same amount of time and burn more kilojoules.

So if you're like me, fit conscious but loves to go food trippin.. nor have time to go by the gym.
start by just walking around.. walk to your car, walk your dog around the park,, or instead of taking a trike, walk home..

Move, shake and start walking those feet.

New Moon - Meet me on the Equinox..

An equinox occurs twice a year, when the tilt of the Earth's axis is inclined neither away from nor towards the Sun, the Sun being vertically above a point on the Equator. The name "equinox" is derived from the Latin aequus (equal) and nox (night), because around the equinox, the night and day are approximately equally long. When north and south of the equator experience nights of equal length.
And that's why it's ON THE EQUINOX and not AT THE EQUINOX ..

I feel Bella's pain... Her loss.. That feeling of missing something dear, knowing that you might not get it back again., That after feeling complete happiness, everything just comes to an abrupt end.

Time ouT..

They all feared (which they called as) the inevitable. That the fellowship wont survive due to the continuous space that seems to grow and makes 'em drift apart.

So they took drastic measures. They talked amongst themselves to pinpoint the issues and how can they resolve them and hope that the fellowship would evolve and survive.

Then started project: No boundaries..

It started with the LoneBard, Princess, Duke and the Maiden.. Then they tried to preach their cause to the others distant still. It was not an easy task. They we're all a work in progress.

Days passed and they were starting to be more open and (well) a bit more expressive to each other.
Every time there were talks, there is still that dead air. a momentary silence.
Certain stuff still tabooed.
Boundaries are not easily easily torn down. Bridges take time to be built.

They were all in a fog of uncertainty.

There were casualties and extensions to the fellowship.
Different personalities collide, hidden alliances formed.

They we're never as one.

They we're all trying, maybe a bit too much.

Most were intellectually linguistic who reads each line and try to understand each others words.
While some are just expressive, who has a way with words but easily misunderstood.

Then they came to a point where they all need a time of solitude.. a sabbatical.
Time to think off and figure out things.

No matter how much they argue about it, the fellowship's breaking has long been predicted and inevitable. It started with the p.king & the d.Lady..

now it's starting to catch up with them.

Only thing now is to retreat, live and fight another day.
Should they stay and fight, there would be no hope of unity and all would be lost.
Only by surrendering, taking different paths of their own should they prevent further casualties to the fellowship and still have hope of unity in the future.

ALL IN TIME.

astrologizED..

Scorpio -
You have a guard around your heart
that was erected long ago, and it's
holding up pretty well. However, a
certain charming someone will find
an opening and slide right in.

I was always intrigued by astrology. Every time I read mine on the newspaper or over the net, the prediction in a peculiar way comes true by the end of the day. So ever since, whenever I come across the horoscope part of magazines/papers I can't help but look at mine.

I read the prediction above a few days back. I can safely say, that the first part is true. Ever since high school, I never dared to make my heart vulnerable to anybody. That's why up til today I don't do major commitments.. I've dated a couple of times, that seasonal summer flings, and friends with benefits. But no official girlfriend commitment. That's why I'm so intrigued, would I actually let someone in? So right now I'm watching out on all charming girls I know.. >_< and we'll see.

_ _ _ _ _

So we we're at a friend's place, and there was this horoscope mag..
we all checked out what it said about us.
when I read mine aloud, It was darn accurate and (well) almost a perfect
biography of my personality. So they said like wow, It just stated your life.
blah blah.
They said that I might be a stereotype (one who follows a certain way or
something like that so they said) which I am not.
Truth be told, I was a bit offended.
So I just said (jokingly) my type is just so expected in the world..
blah blah.

I dunno what celestial meaning behind the stars that astrology/ numerology predicts pretty well our personalities but whatever it is, I guess we shouldn't rely too much on it.

Let's live our lives like the way we want it to be and not let some piece of paper dictate it for us.

MUSIC STUDIO..

I am sure many of you are familiar with the hip musicians today like: Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, BoysLikeGirls, Jonas Brothers, and many more. But ofcourse, as everyone should know, before they got all of their great songs out in the market, they have recorded them first in a music studio. Now what exactly is a music studio? What are it's functions? How can we manage a music studio? Today we're gonna talk about that and a brief history of how a music studio came to be. Who knows, maybe we can start recording ourselves and be stars in our own right.

Today, we can define a music studio simply as a place where musicians can play, rehearse and most importantly, to record their songs. To better understand, Recording is a process of registering waveform by mechanical, photographic, electrical or magnetic means for subsequent reproduction on radio, television, disc, film, or tape.

The first sound recording was made by Thomas Alva Edison, the inventor of the electric light bulb. In 1877 his first machine had a cylinder turned by a handcrank, a horn that looked like a cheerleader's megaphone. The idea was good, but the sound was very bad. Edison's simple machine had many faults.

The recording of sound, has been done all through 20th century. But only in the last few years has nearly perfect recording been possible. The “talking machines” of the 1900's were so crude that the “talk” could hardly be understood. In the early 1920's the wind-up phonographs were only slightly better. But the modern record players are so well made that they can produce the original sound almost perfectly. So basically, the first music studio is the workplaces of every inventor after Edison who is working on the improvement of sound recording.

A music studio must have a technical room where all the recording equipment is found, where a technician operates, and where a music producer oversee the ongoing recording. A music studio obviously has to have a recording booth, a room where a musician plays and records. Aside from musical instruments, mic stands, the room is also sound-proofed for better sound input in recording. To do so, the walls are plated with rubber or with soft cushions. Like what we see in movie houses and theaters.

Services rendered in a music studio, first is rental of equipment ofcourse only to be used within the premises like guitars electrical or otherwise, drums, keyboards, etc. for band rehearsals are charged by the hour. Second is recording, the rate depends entirely on what the customer and owner agrees upon. Some charge them per song, how long the duration will take. Lastly is music lessons. If the owner is musically inclined, he or she could teach kids lessons in voice, guitar, drums, or in which the owner has prior knowledge of. Lessons could be rated by the hour or session.

Starting your own music studio would be a bit pricey, because of the equipment and all. So usually owners are mostly musicians who had collected/bought these equipment for personal use over the years and thought to share 'em with willing souls who wants to learn their craft.. The music studio business can be manned not just by musicians or people with music-inclined proffesions but also simple music enthusiasts.

So basically that's it. Though I'm no expert in the subject matter, I hope I was able share some things there is to know about a music studio. So Musicians out there, never fret to experiment just write stuff and let the world enjoy your music.

Hearts OUT to TAYLOR..

you know that saying, it takes a village to raise a child?

Apparently, Kanye's village has failed him. He obviously doesn't have a real friend in the world. There does not appear to be anyone who can get through to him, to make him understand that he needs to curb his obnoxious behavior.

I thought it was a joke when Kanye showed up on the MTV Video Music Awards stage next to Taylor Swift, right in the middle of her acceptance speech for Best Female Video for "You Belong With Me." It was the first Moon Man for the 19-year-old country starlet, who has become an equally huge star in the pop world.

"I always dreamed about what it would be like to win one of these one day," Taylor said with surprise. "I never thought it would happen."

As Taylor continued, Kanye interrupted, saying he thought Beyonce's "Single Ladies" video was wrongly overlooked. "Hey Taylor, I'm really happy for you, but Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time."

Taylor looked humiliated. I felt humiliated for her. The audience booed him, and gave her a standing ovation.

I didn't expect Taylor to win that award, and I'm not upset about Kanye's opinion. However, bum-rushing the stage wasn't the appropriate time and place to express his disagreement.

Not only was Kanye's approach disrespectful, it was especially disrespectful because it was directed towards a woman--a teenage girl, actually. Taylor won't turn 20 until December. I can only imagine how her father feels. I'm sure he would like to have a talk to Kanye. I'm not related to her, and I'd like to have a talk with him.

If Kanye wants people to win the awards he thinks they deserve, he should create his own event. He should name it after his website, KanyeUniversity.com, and webcast it.

Kanye is a guest at the MTV Video Music Awards. He does not determine the winners. The winners are determined by popular vote. Furthermore, aside from the fact that Taylor Swift is a top-selling artist, who has revolutionized teen country pop, she did not have any competition in this category as her competitors Beyonce, Lady GaGa, Pink, and Kelly Clarkson split the pop vote. Taylor had to get 100 percent of the country vote, plus some of the pop vote as well.

It's simple math that even a "College Dropout" should be able to figure out.

Ironically, a MTV writer joked that Kanye's rant was an indication that he might be inebriated. "Kanye West ruins Taylor Swift's big moment," the MTV.com editor wrote. "Further

proof that he's on the Hennessy. In my humble opinion, that is."

MTV also reported that Perez Hilton and Hayley Williams started a #TeamTaylor trend on Twitter.

Pink tweeted about her annoyance with Kanye. "Kanye West is the biggest piece of sh-t on earth. Quote me," she wrote. "My heart goes out to Taylor Swift. She is a sweet and talented girl, and deserved her moment. She should know we all love her."

Kanye has previously made award show rants about Gretchen Wilson, Justice and Simian, as well as Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake, but this was the worst.

I give credit to Taylor. She handled it gracefully. The audience countered him by giving her a standing ovation, and booed Kanye throughout the night whenever his name was mentioned.

Taylor performed "You Belong With Me" live just minutes later. I watched, wondering if she would feel flustered, and if it would show in her performance. But it didn't.

I think she channeled that negative energy into a positive. Good for her.

Fortunately, Taylor got another chance to complete her acceptance speech. When Beyonce accepted the Best Video Award for "Single Ladies," she invited Taylor back on stage.

"Wow, this is amazing," Beyonce said when receiving her award. "I remember being 17-years-old and up for my first MTV award with Destiny's Child. It was one of the most exciting moments in my life. So, I'd like for Taylor to come out and have her moment."

Taylor then joined Beyonce on stage and recited her acceptance speech, only making a subtle reference to the incident. Before rattling off her special thanks, she said, "Maybe we can try this again."

After the awards, Kanye posted an apology to Taylor on his website, KanyeUniversity.com. "I'M SOOOOO SORRY TO TAYLOR SWIFT AND HER FANS AND HER MOM," Kanye wrote on his site, AP reported. "I SPOKE TO HER MOTHER RIGHT AFTER AND SHE SAID THE SAME THING MY MOTHER WOULD'VE SAID. SHE IS VERY TALENTED!"

Still, MTV should have thrown Kanye out of the event. Had any other heckler had the audacity to interrupt the broadcast, they would have been thrown out and probably charged. He should not be treated any differently.

This dude needs help.

Fortune Telling..

Exciting yet scary.
Should we mess with fate?
What if it all went into our heads..

That every time we are faced with that situation,
we all get nervous and screw up..

That we were meant to like it, but we don't like it YET.

What if knowing, ruins everything.

Won't we want it all just to come in naturally,
and actually live life..

Ain't no Writer..

The key to witting is to write, not to think..

When you write your first draft,
write with your heart..

When rewriting, then we use our head.

F R I E N D S

For as long as I can remember, the fellowship shared everything.

Stories..

Secrets..

Laughter..

Broken hearts.

So when we found friendship in each other, that by some miracle, fit us but not so perfectly.. We took it on faith they'd come into each other's lives for a reason.

That summer and the two that followed.. The friendship had the magic of keeping us together. No matter where they found us. They saw us through times of love.. Times of loss.. and times of change. And those moments where your life just lift up.. and take off.

That fall when we left for college, I watched each of my friends settle into a new life.

ISA and CHRIS became Blue Eagles @ ADMU. BEL was @ distant UPLB, but thankfully for sophomore year she was able to transfer campuses and now with VEN @ UP diliman.. While JO is being modern @ iAcademy, JUS took culinary @ CCA but stopped for a sem and joined JAM @ DLSB the next. We were proud of EL for being a Dean's Lister @ UST. and IAN, enjoying theater @ DBTC.

They made it look so easy, fitting right in and making new friends.. While I was at UPjr waiting to feel something real or familiar. I was lost without them, especially when it felt like my family was moving on too.

I believe the fellowship can survive anything. But maybe our friendship had done just about all our friendship could do.. and the rest we had to learn on our own.

How to become ourselves, without losing each other. *

Sometimes I think that the friendship got lost on purpose.. That this was their final gift to us..

Bringing us back together. Back to a place of forgiveness and love.. and an understanding that we shared was all the magic we could ever need.

And as we spent those last few moments of togetherness.. Looking out at the blending of mirth and new experiences.. I realized it was a sight I knew very well: The softly faded essential face.. of a well - treasured fellowship of FRIENDS.

The friendship had brought us together again.

The rest.. was in our hands.
